MOST COMMON QUESTIONS FOR THE OFFICIANT
1. Will you be able to personalize our ceremony?
With the help of my digital wedding planner and questionnaires to my couples, together we co-create your personal wedding ceremony. The planner is bursting with choices and after you choose your preferences, and/or perhaps write your own vows – (although the planner has many vow options) I write a personal message especially for you and voila! Your unique ceremony will be given life and it will be as amazing as your love for each other.
2. Do you offer a Keepsake Ceremony Booklet?
As a matter of fact, once your ceremony vision has been realized I then print it on linen paper, bind with a heavy stock cover in black and ribbon colors of your choice. Your names and wedding date are printed on the front. It’s is designed to last a lifetime – just like your marriage.
I also include a beautiful Unique Keepsake Marriage Certificate that you sign during the ceremony. It’s gorgeous, worthy of framing and hanging on your wall and will last a lifetime.
3. How long do your ceremonies last?
The typical ceremony should be no longer than 22 – 30 minutes long. Any longer than that and guests find it hard to sit, children find it hard to sit and the bride and groom along with the wedding party will find it hard to stand for any longer. My ceremonies durations are this:
Elopement 12 – 17 minutes
Traditional/modern 22 – 30 minutes
w/added ritual or
Handfasting 25 – 35 minutes
4. How many pre-wedding sessions do we have with you?
So, I like to meet all of my couples and the sooner the better. (during Covid-19 protocol has been a little different). That way I get a sense of you as a couple and together we learn about each other. With all the planning that it takes to pull off even a small affair, I usually don’t find it necessary to meet with my couples more than once, maybe twice.
Technology has made it very easy to video chat, email or utilize social media platforms and Zoom which makes much more sense in these trying times and makes it easier to meet with busy schedules.
But know, that you do have unlimited contact with me for all your questions and planning.
5. Will you help us obtain our marriage license?
No. However, in Maricopa County you will apply at this office:

6. Do you do rehearsals?
Yes! I do assist or direct rehearsals. If this is something you feel you need to do then please be sure to let me know from the get-go so I can plan to attend. If you book me later I may not be available for your rehearsal date. I do charge $50 for my services.
7. What do you wear when you officiate?
I usually wear a black pantsuit or dress to be lowkey and professional. Since this is YOUR DAY – the focus is on you and when you get your photos back, they will reflect that professionalism and there will be no sloppiness from this Officiant. I want your memories of that day to be stellar right down to the dress details.
